Acadia Technology
Owners can select from one of two colored touchscreens, six or eight-inch. To maintain your eyes on the road, a color Head-Up Display with a diagonal display of 6 inches shows critical info directly onto the windshield. Included, but not limited to, are the following: audio, phone, speed, navigational system, fuel running low, visual alert for a forward collision, lane departure warning (low visibility), cruise control is a feature that allows you to travel at a steady pace, tachometer. On the Denali trim, this is standard. SLT and AT4 are both supported.
The eight-inch screen offers the following: Use your voice activation to make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, and listen to music –while keeping your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. It also has Wi-Fi; it also has in-vehicle apps that can be downloaded. With the AT4, Denali, and SLT trims it is standard. It is also available on the SLE trim.
Acadia Safety
The 2022 Acadia has numerous safety features to help ensure your and your passengers’ safety:
Rear Vision Camera
Using the rear vision camera, you can see what is directly behind your car on the infotainment screen. This can assist you in parking and avoiding collisions with adjacent objects when you are in reverse mode.
Surround Vision
At low speeds, surround vision gives drivers an aerial "birds-eye" view of the environment around the car on the infotainment screen, which may be used to assist you in parking and avoiding obstacles in the immediate vicinity.
Following Distance Indicator
Using the following distance indicator, you may get an estimate of the gap time of a moving car you are sensed to be following, which might help you determine whether you are following too closely.
Pedestrian Detection
In the daytime, driving at less than 50 mph, the system can aid you in preventing or minimizing the severity of a major collision with a person it identifies immediately in the front of your car, according to the manufacturer, if you are
traveling less than 50 mph.
In addition to delivering pedestrian warnings, it has the capability of automatically applying forceful emergency brakes or improving the driver's fast braking performance. Its abilities at night and in low visibility are severely limited.
Automatic High Beams
This function is useful in general, but it is particularly useful while driving on roads that you are unfamiliar with. When an oncoming vehicle is detected, the high beams turn on and off to prevent the driver of the oncoming vehicle from becoming blinded and to make it simpler for you to see. This is one of the most useful features since, more often than not, drivers accidentally blind one another without even realizing they are doing so.
Alert for a Forward Collision
In the event of an approaching accident with a vehicle you're following, this function will alert you immediately so that you may take the necessary action before the situation worsens.
Additionally, if you are following a detected automobile at a dangerously close distance, you will receive a tailgating notification.
The technology, when used in conjunction with forward accident alert, helps you avoid or reduce the impact of a front-end collision with a vehicle you're following when driving at speeds below 50 mph during the day.
In some instances, imaging technology is utilized to apply hard emergency braking autonomously or to enhance the driver's capacity to perform harsh emergency braking in specific conditions.
Rear Park Assist
When driving in reverse at moderate speeds, rear park assist can offer distance alerts to nearby identified objects behind the car, allowing you to park and avoid them more effectively.
The technology and safety features of the 2022 are award-winning. The
2022 Acadia is ranked in the top ten midsize SUVs by JD Powers. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded it five out of five stars for safety. Stop by
